With effect from 1 January 2026, the functions and recognition arrangements of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) transitioned to Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated, which commenced operations as the single international accreditation cooperation body. The former IAF MLA and ILAC MRA arrangements have been subsumed into the Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated MRA, with continuity of recognition for existing accredited conformity assessment results.
