2. What is the role of PEEB as a certification Body?

PEEB offers its excellence expertise on multiple disciplines, including Safety and Environment, Quality Management Safety, Health System, Service Management.  Basic functions of PEEB’s are to evaluate competencies of individuals and certify their expertise in Service management, Engineering Quality Management system (QMS), Occupational Health& Safety Management (OH&S MS) Environmental Management System (EMS), Food Safety Management System (FSMS), Leadership discipline.

Primarily we empower individuals and organizations to improve the customer services, and experiences with proficiency, tools, and solutions.

The Professional Excellence Evaluation Board (PEEB) is the premier global accredited personnel certification body. Its Certification Schemes Certified Safety Specialist (CSS) is accredited by International Accreditation Services (IAS) as per ISO 17024:2012. PEEB accreditation demonstrates that all certifications meet global standards

4. Code of ethics of PEEB/Certification Body.

This code of ethics sets professional standards and ethical values, which are set and must be complied by applicants, candidates and credential holders and abide by PEEB obligations, standards, and its governing policies always.

Integrity:

The certified professionals shall pursue and maintain integrity, dignity, and distinction of the profession as well as of the PEEB by complying with these standards of work ethics.

Scope:

PEEB evaluated/certified professionals shall hold and be accountable for fundamental standards in during the conduct of their duties and professionally advise employers, clients, employees, the public and appropriate authorities, of any danger and intolerable risks.

Competence and Objectivity:

PEEB certified professional must be unbiased and fair-minded conduct his/her professional affairs with re-possibility and integrity.  Continuously maintain exacting standards of ethics, balanced care for the concerns of the public, employers, clients, employees, colleagues, and the profession itself.

PEEB certified professional must avoid conducting or practice, which might lead to discrediting the professions, PEEB board or misleading the public in any manner.

Professionalism:

PEEB evaluated and certified professional candidates shall only conduct practice in his/her educational field of expertise and knowledge. As well as following up their professional development by maintaining their proficiency through further knowledge, work experience, professional and keeping up to date with current affairs of the profession.

Fairness:

PEEB certified professional shall always act as a non-bias professional of their field and with the manner regardless to individual’s religion, ethnicity, gender, age, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability.

Support:

PEEB certified professional will always support fellow professionals and PEEB as the main operating power behind the development in the professional environment. In addition, certified professional by PEEB - will not conspire, embarrass, or discredit the PEEB or the other colleagues.

7. What are the 7/8 steps of application?

Application steps

Step 1- Application 

The first stage consists of applying through PEEB official website. The application form can be obtained from PEEB website. Candidate can Submit application online with the scan copy of required documents.

Step 2 – Check Eligibility

Applications are reviewed by PEEB and evaluate the material presented by an applicant i.e., Applicants for PEEB ISO 22000 Lead Auditor certification must meet one of the following three options:

Step 3 – Select Exam Type

PEEB offers Lead Auditor Exams in two ways computer-based test CBT and Paper-based test PBT. Next step is to select the type of test from CBT/PBT.

Step 4 – Pay Application Fee

Applicants will receive a notification about application status within 14 business days of receiving your application. After successful of the application candidate will pay the fee by the specified deadline PEEB will precede all applications

Step 5 – Purchase Exams

Once application approved, applicant/learner will purchase the exam set and will select the month for examination as PEEB will offer/conduct minimum one PEEB Lead Auditor exams every month and as per required.

Step 6 – Appear for Exam

Examinations are delivered in two ways via computer-based test (CBT) and via paper-based testing (PBT) at specific locations in UK. Candidates must successfully pass the exam to be PEEB Lead Auditor Certified.

Step 7 – Pay Annual Renewal Fee

Professional Excellence Evaluation will award PEEB Lead Auditor certification who passes the exam. There is an annual/monthly renewal fee who earn the PEEB Lead Auditor credential.

Step 8 – PEEB Recertification Requirements

PEEB Lead Auditor Certified must maintain CPD by compiling 25 Re-certification points every 3 years. Another way to earn all the required points is to retake and pass the examination for Re-certification.

8. How long does it take to process my application for certification?

Applicants will receive a notification about application status within 3 business days of receiving your application. After success of the application, a candidate will pay the fee by the specified deadline. PEEB will precede all applications.

9. Where are the documents I uploaded in support of my application for certification?

All your uploaded documents will be available on My Peeb.

17. What is CPD points?

A CPD record helps keep a track of your learning progression from year to year. It is an individual’s evidential documentation of their Continuing Professional Development obligations for their professional body or association.

These CPD delegate certificates act as validation that the learning has been attended and completed. Professional bodies/PEEB review their members CPD portfolio to ensure they are meeting their annual Continuing Professional Development hours or points requirements.

18. How long certifications are valid?

PEEB Lead Auditor certified required to maintain certification by fulfilling the requirements of the Certification Maintenance Program (CMP). The PEEB Lead Auditor Certification are valid for three years. To maintain his/her certification, the applicant must demonstrate every year that he/she is still performing tasks that are related to the certification.

19. How can I verify certification validation?

PEEB provide an online link or portal for the certification checking. Candidates need to use their details for accessing their certification validity.

20. How to maintain certifications?

To retain your certification, you must:

  • Inform PEEB when your mail or email address changes
  • Pay your annual fee
  • Complete Recertification requirements

Changing Your Name:

If you change your name through marriage or other court proceedings, you may request a name change by contacting info@peebonline.com additionally, you must provide a copy of the court record or marriage certificate to register the change.

Paying Your Annual Renewal Fee:

The authority to use the PEEB Lead Auditor title is valid for one year. It must be renewed annually. You will receive a prorated fee for the remainder of the year in which you pass the examination. Each following year, PEEB UK will send you a notice when your annual renewal fee is due. PEEB UK gives you several options for paying the fee online via a credit card or by phone. After receiving your payment, PEEB UK will post your instant wallet card and email you a receipt.

Reinstatement:

If you fail to pay your annual renewal fee on time or fail to achieve the required recertification points every five years, PEEB UK will send you a notice that your credential has been invalidated and you no longer hold the PEEB Lead Auditor.

21. What are the criteria for certification cancelation?

22. How do I submit my recertification application?

Firstly, you will need to login to PEEB LINK via email. Once you are logged in, select the ‘Manage My Certifications’ tab located at the top-level navigation of the page. From there, select the ‘Current Certifications’ option at the top right-hand corner. Once you are in this section, click on the ‘Recertification’ tab. This will give you the ability to submit your application.

Please note that not all our schemes have a recertification requirement. Check the requirements for your area/specialization.

23. What happens if I don’t recertify or maintain my certification?

If you fail to meet our recertification requirements or do not maintain your certification, your certification will be made inactive, and your details will be removed from the Professional Excellence Evaluation Board Search Register.

24. What is the difference between an annual and recertification fee?

Your annual fee and recertification fee reflect your grade of certification and is the same price. Note that if you are certified under one of our management systems schemes (those based on an ISO standard), such as, etc., you will not be charged a recertification fee as certification is now continuous for these schemes. Instead of being charged a recertification fee, you will only be charged an annual fee.
